Dr Joseph Caporusso - President

Dr Caporusso was elected President of the FIP on October 14, 2012 at the FIP/IFP Annual General Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland. The General Assembley was represented by 21 countries. In his acceptance speech Dr Caporusso stated "he will focus his attention for his first term on improving comminication, re-establishing our committees and pursuing further development of our educational and financial initiatives."

As well, Dr Joseph Caporusso is the current president of the American Podiatric Medical Associaition (APMA) and Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.) Coalition Past-Chair. He currently practices in Mcallem Texas in the United States where his practice focus on all apects and care of the diabetic foot. He serves on his local school board and is very active in his community. He is a very dedicated father, to his 3 boys and husband, to his wife.
