Robert C Chelin DPM - Chief Executive Officer

Robert is a Past-President of the FIP and served from  2007-2010. Robert lives in Toronto, Canada and has practiced there for over 33 years. He has seved both as President of the Onatario and Canadian Podiatric Medical Associations

Robert was the first Canadian to ever serve as  a president of the FIP since its inception in 1947.  Currently, Robert is the Chair of the FIP World Congress Organizing (WCOC) and Website Development, Committees. He also serves on the FIP's World Foot Health Awareness Month Committee as well as the FIP Articles and By-Laws Committee.

During his term Robert engineered the growth of the oragnization by bringing in eight new countries to join the FIP family. His connections and relationship with Special Olympics International (SOI) has led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the FIP and SOI in spring of 2011.

As a Past-President Robert serves in an advisory role to the current FIP President.
