2018 Annual General Meeting

The FIP-IFP Board invites you to attend the 2018 FIP-IFP Annual General Meeting in Hong Kong from 18 to 20 May 2018. This year AGM will be hosted by the International Podiatrists Association of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong, officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the eastern side of the Pearl River estuary in East Asia, south of the mainland Chinese province of Guangdong, and east of the former Portuguese colony and fellow special administrative region of Macau.

Calendar for the 2018 FIP-IFP Annual General Meeting

The calendar for the meetings is comparable to the traditional FIP-IFP AGM meetings. All FIP-IFP members are welcome on Friday 18 May, to join the Annual ECP Committee Meeting, where the ECP committee members will give an overview of the work they achieved and the plans for the future.

The subject of the delegate session (after the ECP Committee meeting), will not be revealed yet. But this year it will be a great information session that will be useful for all association executives.

The Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday during the day.

Sunday, the IPAHK will host a very interesting symposium on the Podiatry Professional Development in HK.

IPAHK will invite Ms. Sophia Chan the Secretary for Health and Welfare for welcome speech and Dr. Joseph Lee Legislative councilor for professions supplementary to medicine to talk about current status of AH professional recognition in HK. This will be followed by one or two lectures on the history and development of the profession and clinical practice in Hong Kong presented by the IPAHK members. IPAHK corporate members  ‘Stride Right’ are keen to support the event.

IPAHK welcomes all the FIP-IFP delegates to join this very inspiring symposium.”
